What is a Nazarene?

Nazarene is a funny name, but at the most basic level, Jesus was raised in a town named Nazareth, that made him a Nazarene. Our name indicates that we want to be like Jesus. We are a basic Christian church. For more detailed information see www.nazarene.org.

What would a Sunday service (10:30 am) be like?

Pretty average I suppose...Some singing ( a hymn and newer music), an offering, prayer, and a sermon that lasts about forty five minutes. The entire time is not more than an hour and fifteen minutes. The nursery is available for babies and kids have the option to go to children's church.

Can I see a calendar of events?

You can click here to view a church calendar.

Do you have Sunday School or a small group ministry?

We have Sunday School for children and adults each week at 9:30 a.m. We have a Bible study on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm.

Do you have a teen group?

We have about 10 students that meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. for some fun and a short devotional. Sunday mornings there is a Sunday School class for teens at 9:30 am. (Check out the 180 Sign Flippin' video.)

Do you have other ministries for children?

On Sundays we have children's church for school-aged children, kinder church and nursery for the little ones each Sunday. On Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm we have activities for kids too.

How should I dress when I come to church?

Most dress pretty casual, some ladies wear dresses (not many), no guys wearing suits (can't even get one on the pastor) and several wear jeans. We are interested in people who want to connect with God... not what you wear.

What kind of music do you sing?

We give honor to the past by singing one hymn a week but give preference to new style worship to connect with the younger generation.

I attend church, how can I get a copy of the church directory?

You can click here to download one but you must get the password from the church office to open it.
